In addition to these, Portugal Home Week will integrate a set of complementary initiatives such as Home Party; Home Dinner; Home Pro Trips; Home Fun Trips; InovDesign; Startup Corner; Design Lounge; Guimarães Home Fashion Week.

Portuguese home and contract furnishings provide quality, function and design integrity to settings and spaces all around the world. As a thriving exporting sector of the Portuguese economy, these industries are rapidly attracting the attention of the world's leading design brands.

Portugal Home Week takes place in Porto, Portugal's second largest city. European Best Destination in 2018, it's currently one of the trendiest European cities, praised for its beauty, authenticity and vibrant life. Located in northern Portugal, Porto is also the district capital where most of the Portuguese furniture producers are located.

Porto's neoclassical old Customs House was renovated into what was considered the Best European Congress Centre in 2014, 2015 and 2017. Built by the river, at the city's Historic Centre (UNESCO World Heritage Site), the venue has the perfect conditions to host the event.
