With more than half a century of existence and with the past still running in our veins, Serip focuses on the present and designs the future, shaping a solid path.
Follow here the journey throughout our history where different periods resort to the same source Nature of inspiration: nature.
The classic period
1961-1979
The beginning. Without our own identity, but already with great aesthetic concern. We started to develop very ornate lighting, using ceramics, porcelain, brass, frosted and opaline glass.
The identity period
1980-1996
The statement. We started creating our own designs and developing our own glass. With a strong commitment to quality, we start using Atlantis crystal, glass, and Italian glass techniques, such as stamping and ornamented Italian bars.
The alabaster period
1997-2000
The nature. The beginning of the reproduction of elements of nature, together with the introduction of alabaster. With a very unique impression, we gave colour to the alabaster, creating exclusive and differentiating pieces. At that time, the raw material was essentially bronze, alabaster, and glass.
The organic period
2001-2003
The design. The creation of its own style and a new approach to design, the organic concept led to the creation of the first collections with Serip's signature. Eterik was the first collection of this period, which was launched in Valencia in September of 2001.
The design period
2004-Today
The innovation. After creating a trend, Serip continued on the path plotted earlier. The organic design has become part of the identity that defines the brand and has consolidated itself as its essence! Betting on design, developing new collections with technological innovation.

Craftsmanship

The nonsymmetrical and uneven forms set Serip approach as exclusive and immediately defined as “organic design”

One of the great advantages of craftsmanship is the possibility of customization, a fact that gives the client the chance to make his project unique and custom-made. For Serip brand, it is very important that the customer feels that his product is exclusive, tailor-made, and filled with passion, giving to the illumination or other bespoke pieces a unique space in an interior design project, allowing it to be incorporated into the layout. In a present world mainly focused on symmetry, standard, and monotony - as a result of the industrial and mechanic production - Serip responds with concepts such as difference, unevenness, uniqueness, and contrast, like nature´s powerful distinguished elements. Serip´s passion for organic forms and the search for design innovation provides a unique point of view in today´s massified decoration market. Every produced piece is a singular and unique work of art, due to the almost entire absence of mechanic elements in the production process. Offering to a room the uniqueness, the exclusivity that every single design deserves.

The processes of production use ancestral techniques returning to the past, on a journey where their ancestors began to develop their skills.

Generations throughout history have perfected the technique to this day, but without neglecting the essence of this manual process of unique characteristics that personifies the artistic production. Resulting in odd beauty pieces spiked with history. Our technicians, artisans, sculptors, and designers use their knowledge in these techniques as a tool for the creation of contemporary art against industrialization, collecting the ancestral wisdom to give life to an organic style that characterizes our brand, using raw material like bronze and glass.
The feeling of mission accomplished is when our designs can provoke feelings, add emotions or just make someone think about it. The possibility to make somehow someone travel into the nature vibes and feel present all the inspiration conceived in the sculpture it's our purpose. That's what we pursuit, that our beloved clients can felt absorbed by nature.
