The challenge proposed to Marianne Garabed - Décoratrice D'intérieur à Lyon was quite simple, the redesign of the interior of the famous Maison Villemanzy restaurant on the Croix-Rousse hills in Lyon,France. Previously space had a very old-fashioned and aged look, but very welcoming and with a familiar spirit. These last two were the only characteristics that the space owners wanted to keep in the new space.

In this project, it was decided to keep some of the furniture and these were restored to combine with the new environment to be created. The wooden tones have remained which contrasts with the green and bordeaux colours of the walls, creating a natural and at the same time rustic effect. The furniture, although more adequate to the desired decoration, presents a vintage design perfect for the restaurant concept.

The choice of lighting could not make more sense and it combines perfectly with this decoration. The Fascinium Collection and the Liquid Collection were chosen to enhance Maison Villemanzy.

The liquid collection under the main counter next to the drinks is undoubtedly the key element that links this decoration to nature. The golden branches that surround the falling water drop create a very natural presentation for customers who approach the counter. The rest of the lighting, both wall and ceiling, was in charge of the Fascinium Collection. A traditional collection with a classic yet elegant presence, which accompanies the previous collection beautifully, forming a safe and refined pair.
