With her careful choice of materials, shapes and colours, Simone Arora infuses a sense of luxurious calm in this Mumbai apartment, in the heart of the busy city of Mumbai, we invite you to enter in this tranquil and serene living space, a third-floor apartment at Rustomjee Elements in Upper Juhu, designed to be contemporary and chic, filled with a sense of luxury. This high-end residential is filled with a neutral colour palette and enriched by the expansive greenery outside. The overall impact is incredibly peaceful, the colour tones mixed with textures, achieve the calmness and minimalistic luxury pretended.
Simone, reveals once more her signature style – Nature Luxe - neither organic nor overly luxurious but a creative combination using comfort, functionality, warmth and tranquillity. The choice of the organic lighting by Serip, suits perfectly into this concept, with chandeliers inspired by elements of nature, making this a flawless fusion. Here the Niagara collection was selected to complete this contemporary apartment, with two wall lamps that frame the large mirror further accentuates the feeling of space in this rather large living-dining area, and two ceiling lamps that have become the highlighting pieces that represent in a unique way the fluid movement of water with organic patterns in a game of transparency and opacity.
The furniture, furnishing and accessories reflect designs, shapes and elements from nature, like leaves, branches, rocks, sand, crystal and wood. To portray the vision, Simone used materials such as silk, stone, metals, leather and of course glass. There are insinuations of sheen to create a luxurious look and feel that brings a sense of peace and harmony too, retaining its luxe charm.
The spot-on selection of floor tiles, wood-finished ceramic, holds the entire apartment together as one masterstroke.
All the décor pieces are a combination of textured finishes in matte with a hint of gloss and random pops of colour to invigorate the senses. The silhouettes are kept smooth and minimal.
The apartment has a living room, dining room, family room, three bedrooms with end suite baths, kitchen and balcony. Hues of white, cream, grey, beige and brown are used to infuse a subtle, understated modern vibe.
